Porto Cervo rises on a cape formed from the bay of the gulf of Arzachena, and it is the true centre of the Costa Smeralda. This small village was born in 1962 for wanting of prince Karim Aga Khan who remained fascinated from the beauty of these coasts, he bought these lands and constructed the first hotel. In the zone south of Porto Cervo there is the "Vecchio Porto" that was built in the 60’s and is still working with boats and sailers. In the western side of the port there is the “Marina di Porto Cervo”, it is one of the biggest of the meditarranean, and just a few can compete with the beauty of its surrounding.
